Hillary Clinton’s “Hard Choices” may leave publisher Simon & Schuster dead broke. That’s because sales have been lackluster – less than 200,000 hard copies so far. At a list price of $35, that’s just $7 million in total sales on a book for which Hillary received a $14 million advance. Given regular discounts and so forth, she’ll have to triple or quintuple her sales for the publisher to break even. Or as Hillary recalled of her own meager existence, “We had no money when we got there and we struggled to, you know, piece together the resources … you know, it was not easy.” It just goes to show once again the Clintons are a poor investment.
