The Colorado baker who was ordered by the state to go into re-education for not baking a wedding cake for a same-sex couple has filed a notice of appeal to fight the order. “[T]he Free Speech Clause of the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and the Colorado Constitution protects Jack [Phillips] from being compelled to use his artistic talents to create expression he disagrees with,” said the document, filed with the Colorado Court of Appeals. The American Civil Liberties Union will have an interesting fight on their hands.
