The Patriot Post® · Cop: Obama Doesn't Follow the Constitution, So I Don't Have To

Richard Recine, a 36-year veteran of the New Jersey police force, hung up his uniform Thursday after telling a local resident recording a video inside a public building, “Obama has decimated the friggin’ Constitution, so I don’t give a da– [about your rights]. Because if he doesn’t have to follow the Constitution, we don’t have to.” Unfortunately the officer is correct in that “Obama has decimated the friggin’ Constitution,” but he is absolutely wrong in asserting that Obama’s malfeasance gives him an excuse to also defy Rule of Law. Police Director Robert Manney admitted the remarks were “uncalled for and unprofessional,” adding, “In my opinion, it’s an embarrassment.” That’s putting it mildly.
