Lois Lerner and the IRS are going to have to come up with a better explanation for thousands of missing emails than the dog ate my homework. Fox News reports, “Judge Emmet G. Sullivan on Thursday ordered the IRS to provide a new sworn declaration giving more details about Lerner’s computer troubles, just days after the IRS submitted several to the court as part of a case brought against the agency by a conservative watchdog group.” Additional detail must be given on recovery efforts and how the IRS tracks hard drives during service. Make no mistake, the IRS not only illegally targeted conservative groups but has stonewalled at every turn in the ensuing investigation.
