The Patriot Post® · How Much Is Your $100 Worth?
The Tax Foundation has a new study out on the value of $100 in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. What they found isn’t especially surprising – $100 goes further in the South and Midwest than the Northeast or West Coast. “For example,” the study says, “Tennessee is a low-price state, where $100 will buy what would cost $110.25 in another state that is closer to the national average. You can think of this as meaning that Tennesseans are about ten percent richer than their nominal incomes suggest.” Being headquartered in Tennessee, we in our humble shop simply think of it as a valuable place to live.
