Life isn’t precious, says atheist author Richard Dawkins. At least not some lives. Discussing abortion and Down Syndrome on Twitter, Dawkins insisted these children should be aborted. “These are foetuses,” he said, “diagnosed before they have human feelings.” In fact, he argued, when faced with the dilemma of a prenatal Down Syndrome diagnosis, “Abort it and try again. It would be immoral to bring it into the world if you have the choice.” Dawkins has a twisted sense of morality, but then that might be expected from someone who so vehemently denies his Creator.
