If there was any doubt that our cousins across The Pond are further in societal decay than we are, consider this: More British Muslims have taken up arms with ISIL than are enlisted in the British military. According to estimates of the British government, there are some 600 Muslims serving in the UK military. On the other hand, at least 800 and perhaps as many as 1,500 British Muslims are currently fighting alongside fellow jihadis in Iraq and Syria. Do the math – it isn’t good. Meanwhile, Americans are there too. NBC reports, “Douglas McAuthur McCain, of San Diego, California, was killed over the weekend fighting for [ISIL].” His Twitter bio has all you need to know: “It’s Islam over everything.”
