According to a new report, global warming is going to change bird migration patterns in the Washington, DC, area. (Never mind the 17-year hiatus from warming.) The Washington Post reports, “Warming temperatures will dramatically alter the habitat ranges of birds in nearly every state, including orioles and eagles in the Washington, D.C., region, forcing them to migrate to unfamiliar areas where they will have to adapt quickly or possibly perish.” We suppose it’s too much to hope that global warming would force some other unwanted migratory species – namely politicians – from inhabiting the Swamp.
