House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) drew the same red line Obama did on not getting the U.S. military fully involved in Iraq to fight ISIL. She told reporters, “I will not vote for combat troops.” We now know for certain that the stance for Democrats in the House is strong, anti-war party line. What to do about ISIL, our national security, has grown partisan. “What matters to us … House Democrats … the sentiment of our caucus has been that we are not supporting combat troops in how we solve this problem.
