The amount of money Americans con out of the IRS with tax return fraud is close to the amount of money the economy makes using zombies. The Government Accountability Office released a report saying the IRS was swindled out of $5.2 billion last year. Among the recommendations, GAO suggests moving up the deadlines for W-2 reporting, so the IRS can more quickly verify information. But still, the $5.2 billion lost is on par with the $5.74 billion the economy earns peddling the Walking Dead, zombie video games and zombie weapons.
