The faux campus rape epidemic, part of the so-called “war on women,” continues to be all the rage among Democrats. That’s not to say rape on college campuses isn’t an issue. Of course it is. But the Left’s broader goal is to recruit vulnerable voters before pivotal elections this year and in 2016. The issue is going well beyond rhetoric, however, as illustrated by the University of Michigan. The college decided to expand the definition of sexual violence to include withholding sex. According to The Daily Caller’s Eric Owens, the college “boasts a set of webpages dedicated to its ‘Abuse Hurts Initiative.’ The page entitled ‘Definitions’ defines ‘sexual violence’ as ‘withholding sex and affection’ and ‘discounting the partner’s feelings regarding sex.’” So engaging in restraint now warrants punishment?
