Former IRS official Lois Lerner is no innocent victim, which she proved once again this week. Daily Surge publisher Jason Mattera encountered Lerner in her neighborhood and asked if she’d like to issue any kind of apology. Rather than do so, Lerner tried to force her way into a neighbor’s house to avoid answering any questions. According to the Surge: “‘Could you call the police?’ Lerner begs an elderly woman, while pounding on her door. ‘Please let me in. These guys are with the press and they’re not leaving me alone.’ The elderly woman is heard telling Lerner that she just had surgery and was in no position physically to let her in the house. But that didn’t stop Lerner. She implores that same elderly woman to open up her garage instead.” What a loss to bureaucracy that this woman is now living it up in retirement. More…
