There isn’t much that can keep Barack Obama off the campaign trail. But Ebola turns out to be one of those things. “President Obama on Wednesday canceled his travel to a fund-raiser and a campaign rally so he could convene a meeting of several top cabinet members to coordinate the government’s response to the Ebola outbreak,” reports The New York Times. “The decision comes as a second health care worker in Dallas tested positive for Ebola, raising new concerns about the protocols for containing the spread of the deadly virus and heightening fears among the public.” Let’s see if he’ll take the next logical step and ban travel from West Africa.
