The Patriot Post® · Documents Show Fast and Furious Leads to Holder
Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) said the documents the Department of Justice released regarding the Fast and Furious scandal show the scandal reaches to Eric Holder’s desk. “This was an undercover activity that specifically cut out our allies in Mexico,” Issa said, “so if there’s culpability, I think it really belongs with the attorney general.” And a preliminary glance at the information dump shows “it looks very much like he’s CC’d on everything.” Issa continued: “This is an example of where the attorney general is at the heart of this.” Perhaps this is why Holder announced his resignation soon after a federal judge ordered the DOJ to release the list of documents it was withholding from Congress, not to mention why the documents were dumped on the eve of the election. Now with a few weeks of power left, Democrats can appoint the attorney general Obama wants – Loretta Lynch. And then, as Holder wrote of his critics in one released emails, “Some people can kiss my ass.”
