Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) has a job to do – move away from Barack Obama ahead of his own re-election fight. The senator continued that effort, saying, “There’s an old saying my grandmother would say: People don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care.” When you apply that to Obama, he said, it makes Democrats’ election trouble clear. “The president is bright and very articulate and speaks very well,” Manchin said. “People just don’t believe he cares. That’s the disconnect that I’m seeing.” That’s because he doesn’t care about anything but his own ego.
