The Obama administration is secretly and foolishly looking at ways to partner with Iran even as the Islamic Republic ambitiously moves forward with its nuclear program. Nov. 24, the deadline for a nuclear agreement, is looking increasingly likely to come and go without an accord, and new information reveals that Iran still has no intention of slowing down its production of uranium – an element essential to developing nuclear warheads. Reuters reports, “Iran’s stockpile of low-enriched uranium gas has grown by 8 percent to nearly 8.4 tonnes in about two months, U.N. atomic inspectors say, an amount world powers probably will want to see cut under any nuclear deal with Tehran.” Probably want production cut? That should be a non-negotiable demand. If any nation is succeeding at raising the bar, it’s Iran, which has no aspirations for striking any bilateral deal that hampers Islam’s ideological goal – the annihilation of Westerners and zionists. Moreover, according to the AP, “Russia signed a contract Friday to build two more nuclear reactors in Iran to be possibly followed by another six, a move intended to cement closer ties between the two nations.” It’s the Obama administration that’s looking like a fool.
