Jay Leno received the ire of gun control groups this week because he was going to speak at the SHOT Show, the trade show put on by the gun industry in Las Vegas. For example, gun-control group Moms Demand Action waged a social media campaign against the entertainer, urging its followers to send out one of 10 scripted tweets to the comedian. Leno, a nice guy not known for his backbone or conservative values, caved. “I understand it’s Newtown, and of course I get it. It’s just sometimes, mistakes get made.” Still, Leno isn’t all that bad. In fact, he’s a really decent guy. While he thinks guns are taboo, he recently gave a wounded veteran a hug, and a 2015 Dodge SRT Hellcat and the words “America loves you. Thank you, buddy.” More…
