Al Sharpton wants you to forget that he owes, or owed (depending on whether you ask him or not), millions in taxes. Why? Well, because Obama. “A lot of people don’t like the fact that President Obama’s the president,” Sharpton said at a press conference about his financial state. “A lot of people do not like the fact that Bill de Blasio won for [New York] mayor. And they certainly don’t like that I’m still here, and I ain’t going nowhere.” Sharpton said he’s not sure how much he owes because he’s still being investigated for that, but he is sure the liberal rag New York Times is wrong. And besides, it’s also wrong that Sharpton has to pay late fees, according to Sharpton. “We’re negotiating that we want to try and get a lower figure on penalties to just pay it all off. And clearly, I’ve said National Action Network is in a position to pay, to write a check tonight, if they weren’t trying to get a 100%, a dollar for a dollar, and I’m in a position, if we can get some of the penalties down.” After 30 minutes of this, Sharpton left the room.
