Former Mayor of New York City Rudy Giuliani said on the O'Reilly Factor that race baiters like Al Sharpton blame institutions like police departments and become “very, very famous” for it. And while Sharpton and his ilk ride into town to whip up fervor after some galvanizing issue makes the headlines, it’s harder to take personal responsibility, Giuliani said. “I turned New York City from the crime capital of America to the safest large city in America in four years, and the major beneficiary of that was the black community. And what have they done for the black community for 30 years except watch a lot of people get killed and blame it on the cops?” In Sharpton’s case, he’s run an organization that now owes hundreds of thousands of dollars in back taxes.
