Rep. Jackie Speier (D-CA) has some advice for America: Apologize for the CIA’s torture of terrorists. “Every single page had something in the executive summary that shocked me,” the California Democrat said. “Whether it was the rehydration anally or … keeping them sleep deprived for 180 hours with their hands over their heads and shackled. That is not what this country is about and we have got to shut this down.” Should the CIA apologize? “Absolutely,” she said. “There’s an arrogance that exists within the CIA that has to be reined in.” And if anyone knows about arrogance, it’s Beltway politicos.
