Barack Obama’s shameful attack on Christianity at Thursday’s National Prayer Breakfast and his meager response to the atrocities perpetrated by ISIL have even members of the Leftmedia questioning his intellect. MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell commented on his use of the Crusades as a scapegoat, retorting, “You don’t use the word crusade … in any context right now. It’s too fraught. And the week after a pilot is burned alive in a video shown, you don’t lean over backwards to be philosophical about the sins of the fathers. You have to deal with the issue that’s in front of you or don’t deal with it at all.” Meanwhile, CBS’s Bob Schieffer, who stressed that ISIL doesn’t have “anything close to the evil the Nazis represented,” nonetheless admitted, “I’m still not sure this administration is galvanized to fight this fight and do what’s necessary to do it.” When you have hardcore leftist journalists like Mitchell and Schieffer raising alarm over Obama’s idea of foreign policy, you can bet things are quickly unraveling.
