The Patriot Post® · Obama: Future Must Not Belong to Terrorists

In 2012, Barack Obama said, “The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.” But on Tuesday, after it was confirmed that American relief worker Kayla Mueller was murdered by her Islamic captors (whose claim she was killed by a Jordanian bombing attack is ludicrous propaganda), Obama claimed that it was very difficult for him not to make a ransom trade for Kayla’s safe return. Apparently, it was not so difficult to trade terrorists for an Army deserter. According to Obama, “On this day, we take comfort in the fact that the future belongs not to those who destroy, but rather to the irrepressible force of human goodness that Kayla Mueller shall forever represent [emphasis added].” However, at the moment the future of Islamic radicals has never looked brighter. If Obama was committed to confronting Islamic terrorism, Americans Kayla Meuller, James Foley and Steven Sotloff might still be alive. The future cannot belong to both destroyers and defenders of Liberty. Until Obama accepts reality, Islamic terror will continue to metastasize.
