Joe Biden is best known for his epic gaffes. Most recently in Iowa, he inadvertently – at least we hope – divulged how much he misses his “old butt buddy.” But facepalm-worthy remarks aren’t his only struggle. On Tuesday, as newly sworn-in Defense Secretary Ashton Carter was at the podium, Biden once again stole the show by creepily resting his hands on the shoulders of Ashton’s wife, Stephanie. As PJMedia’s Bridget Johnson described it, “Biden got cozy … while the new SecDef outlined a bit of his vision.” The only vision Biden had was the female beauty standing in front of him. Not that touching females is anything new – he practically groped young women in January. But there was a time when Senator Biden disagreed with Vice President Biden. Remarking on the Violence Against Women Act in 2000, he said, “There is no circumstance under which a man has a right to touch a woman without her consent other than self-defense.” By Biden’s very definition, he’s a protagonist in the war on women.
