Crisis pregnancies too often end in crisis abortions. Many women experience grief after abortion, especially later when they desire to start a family. Most grieve in silence because of shame, often fearing condemnation from both their home and church families. Or perhaps they fear condemnation from those who celebrate abortion. Hence a recent “study” that found “[t]he predicted probability of reporting that abortion was the right decision was over 99% at all time points over three years.” Furthermore, the study asserts, “Women experienced decreasing emotional intensity over time, and the overwhelming majority of women felt that termination was the right decision for them over three years.” The trouble is that this BIG Lie study was funded by abortion advocates to be used by abortion providers to smoother the guilt women considering terminating their pregnancies will almost inevitably feel. No wonder researchers came to the conclusion that 99% of women think everything is awesome. Who’s for making informed decisions again? But talk to any counselor in a pro-life crisis pregnancy center and you’ll hear the stories of guilt, pain and even suicidal hopelessness women suffer after an abortion. For a touching recounting of some of these stories, read Empty Arms. Meanwhile, instead of dealing with these hard issues and truly helping women, Planned Parenthood is selling babies’ harvested organs.
