The Patriot Post® · Hillary Even Wrote Classified Emails
“I did not email any classified material to anyone on my email,” Hillary Clinton said. She added, “There is no classified material.” That was, of course, a lie, and more of the details keep coming out. One example, according to the Washington Examiner’s Sarah Westwood, is that “Huma Abedin, Clinton’s former deputy chief of staff, forwarded a summary of a high-level Sept. 2009 meeting to Clinton in which she detailed the ‘embassy security issues’ that were discussed. The issues had been raised by Eric Boswell, a diplomatic security official who was later forced to resign in the wake of the 2012 terror attack in Benghazi.” Read that again: Boswell, who had raised other security issues before, was thrown under the bus for Clinton’s failure. Clinton was no mere “passive recipient” of classified material, either, as her campaign has insisted. Westwood writes, “For example, in July 2009, she discussed relations with Russia and Afghanistan with then-Deputy Secretary William Burns in an email that has been partially classified. She also discussed her travel plans with Burns over the private network.” She can play dumb about the meaning of “wiping” her server, or make jokes about her Snapchat messages automatically disappearing, but it’s becoming more clear all the time that Clinton violated the law — a law she voted for as a senator, by the way. It’ll certainly be interesting to see what happens when some of her top aides appear before the House Select Committee on Benghazi next week.
