Clinton Aide: ‘She’s Often Confused’

If Clinton becomes president, she won’t be running things.

If you want proof why Hillary Clinton is unfit for the presidency, look no further than the opinions her aides hold of her. On Jan. 26, 2013, Clinton staffer Huma Abedin, who is married to Anthony Weiner, was confirming Clinton’s schedule for the next day with another staffer via email.

“Have you been going over calls with her for tomorrow? So she knows singh [former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh] is at 8?” Abedin wrote to her colleague Monica Hanley in emails obtained by Judicial Watch.

“She was in bed for a nap by the time I heard that she had an 8am call,” Hanley replied. “Will go over with her.”

“Very imp[ortant] to do that,” Abedin replied. “She’s often confused.”

Ah, that’s just what we want in the leader of the free world, the commander in chief of the most powerful military in the world — often confused.

To be fair, this email exchange occurred six weeks after Clinton fell and suffered a concussion, as Allahpundit notes. But it brings to mind the words of Mark Alexander when House Speaker John Boehner announced his resignation. Just replace “alcoholic” with “decrepit and often confused.”

> There is a long congressional record of power-drunk political handlers propping up alcoholic leaders in order to sustain the authority and influential infrastructure of their concentric power circles. Of course that power is fueled primarily by lobbyists and lucrative government contract wink-and-nod deals, which have infested the political process and undermined constitutional constraints on the role and size of government.

Remember: If Clinton becomes president, it won’t actually be Clinton running things. On Monday, the Clinton Foundation announced that it is amending six years of tax returns to report an additional $80 million in donations from foreign governments in some the years Clinton was secretary of state.
