Cheryl Mills, lackey to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, lost her Blackberry in March 2010. But it wasn’t just any old smart phone. With it, she had access to an email account containing classified information. Add this to the growing examples that Clinton’s “efforts” to keep her data secure were full of holes. As blogger Ed Morrissey notes, if Mills didn’t report the loss of the device as a security risk, then she could face up to 10 years in prison. Mills did notify the State Department, but she emailed IT staffer Bryan Pagiliano to resolve the issue. Remember him? He was the IT guy who worked on Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign, moved on to work for the Clinton campaign and then on to the State Department. While at State, Pagiliano kept getting paid by the Clinton Foundation to upkeep the secretary’s homebrew server. Is it too much to ask if he had security clearances?
