The Patriot Post® · Cruz: 'We Should Enforce Immigration Law'

“Would you round up 12 million illegal aliens here, and if so how?” Bill O'Reilly asked Ted Cruz. Donald Trump, the casino mogul who has employed illegals himself , has redefined this conversation, and Trump was the basis of O'Reilly’s question for Cruz. So, to Cruz’s answer:

“We should enforce the law. … Yes, we should deport them,” Cruz responded. “That’s what [Immigrations and Customs Enforcement] exists for. We have law enforcement that looks for people who are violating the laws that apprehends them and deports them.”

Cruz distinguishes himself from Trump and Marco Rubio because the latter two, he says, would grant citizenship to those 12 million illegals — Trump after he deports them and then lets them back in. Rule of Law is indeed very simple on this matter. The politics, though, make it among the tougher issues facing our nation.
