We’ve been chronicling Hillary Clinton’s Benghazi lies since the immediate aftermath of the Sept. 11, 2012 attack. So it’s no surprise when she says something boneheaded like what came out of her mouth at a town hall Monday: “Now, is Libya perfect? It isn’t,” Clinton said. That’s a gross understatement, and the chaos there is largely her fault. But then came the kicker: Contrasting her approach in Libya with the Syrian civil war, Clinton asserted, “Libya was a different kind of calculation, and we didn’t lose a single person.”

Whoa, hold the phone. U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens, along with Sean Smith, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods might disagree with Clinton’s mindless assertion. No doubt she intended to say that we hadn’t lost any military personnel in a sanctioned combat role during 2011, but even that badly misses the mark — Doherty and Woods were former Navy SEALs who worked for the CIA and they died in combat against America’s jihadi foes. Unfortunately, none of this matters to most of Clinton’s supporters. All they want to know is the same thing their candidate demanded in congressional hearings: “What difference, at this point, does it make?!”
