As voters consider their options today, they might want to recall this bit of history: John Kasich voted for — thus helping to pass — the 1994 Clinton “assault weapons” ban. His obnoxious moralizing isn’t new. He says today that he’s pro-Second Amendment, and that may be largely true, but this is a black mark on his record.
