The Patriot Post® · Clinton Lackeys to Be Questioned Over Email Use
Did Hillary Clinton’s aides conspire to obscure Clinton’s communications from the public? That’s what Judicial Watch will be trying to figure out when it questions seven of them, including Huma Abedin, Cheryl Mills and IT specialist Bryan Pagliano under oath. On Tuesday, the conservative watchdog group submitted its detailed plan to question the State Department employees and Clinton staffers after U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan granted the organization’s request to conduct the legal discovery in late February. It’s fitting that this comes in the middle of “Sunshine Week,” an annual occurrence that is supposed to bring attention to government transparency, and just as the Senate mulls a bill that would reform the nation’s Freedom of Information Act.
In a statement, Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, said, “This discovery will help Judicial Watch get all of the facts behind Hillary Clinton’s and the Obama State Department’s thwarting of FOIA so that the public can be sure that all of the emails from her illicit email system are reviewed and released to the public as the law requires.” It was the investigations of private groups like Judicial Watch that compelled the State Department to release Clinton’s emails. It was from those documents that we learned Clinton and her staff toyed with classified information and hinted that they were trying to hide from the public. We can expect more of the same revelations with this legal discovery.
