The Patriot Post® · Former Politician Guilty of Corruption to Support Clinton
The Democrat Party is run by crooks. No, really, Sheldon Silver is a superdelegate within the party because he was the former speaker for the New York Assembly — one of the most powerful men in all of the Empire State. But Silver was found guilty of corruption and he will be sentenced on April 13. Still, the man is not giving up his cushy seat within the Hee-Haw Party. He still wants to vote for Hillary Clinton in the Democrat National Convention in late July. He helped the woman attain her Senate seat, leveraging his power in the New York assembly to get more support for her, and when she ran for the White House in 2008, he endorsed her. He wants to support her one more time —even if he might be voting from a cell. Classy, especially considering that Silver probably lost his right to vote in a general election.
Speaking of the law catching up to crooked politicians, the former U.S. attorney general who prosecuted Israeli spy Jonathan Pollard said this week that if the FBI is honest, they will criminally charge Clinton with violating the Espionage Act. “[The FBI] may not recommend felonies, as a courtesy to a woman who was the first lady for eight years, a senator and the secretary of state,” Joseph diGenova said. “They may as a courtesy try to do what they did with General [David] Petraeus, and recommend misdemeanors. But make no mistake, they are going to recommend that she and others be charged with crimes.” So a convict will vote for one of his own to occupy the highest office of the land, and we wonder why they don’t respect Rule of Law.
