State Trooper Chad Dermyer, a Marine veteran, was targeted and executed last week in Richmond, Virginia. His murderer, James Brown, was latter killed when firing on other troopers.

While no explanation for Brown’s actions was offered by officials and the media, one of his family members told the investigators, “He had a lot of anger about the police in the past. … He always praised those people who got into shootouts with police.”

Trooper Dermyer’s death is evidence that more officers are being targeted and gunned down in the line of duty. The extreme kill-a-cop rhetoric of the Left by the Black Lives Matter movement, and supported by rhetoric from Obama and his cadres, is getting a pass from the media. As a former uniformed law enforcement officer, I am declaring, as we all should, that Blue Lives Matter!
