The Patriot Post® · FBI to Clinton-Investigating Agents: 'Shhh!'

A story has begun to emerge regarding a directive given to FBI agents who were working the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s private email server. It’s being reported that these agents were asked to sign a “Case Briefing Acknowledgement,” which a former FBI agent has described as “very, very unusual.” This acknowledgement “strictly prohibited” the agents from disclosing information without prior approval and warned that they could be subjected to polygraph tests.

With FBI Director James Comey’s recommendation to not bring charges against Hillary Clinton even after stating that she was “extremely careless” with her handling of classified information, many were left wondering why not. Couple the damning FBI report — which essentially convicted Clinton without indicting her — with Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s “impromptu” tarmac meeting with Bill Clinton, and reasonable people could be excused for thinking the fix really was in.

Now we hear of an FBI gag order for agents working the investigation, almost surely to prevent any leaks regarding backroom deals. Or perhaps it was merely a reflection of the immense political pressure surrounding the case. Either way, we’ll soon learn more about how the investigation was handled. What remains to be seen is what, if anything, will come of it.
