“The U.S. government spent millions of dollars, went all over the world to bankrupt him, and destroyed his life — all to protect Hillary Clinton’s crimes.” —Robert Stryk, advisor to American defense contractor Marc Turi, who was indicted on four felony counts for illegally selling weapons to Libyan rebels.

Facing a Wednesday deadline to turn over documents required by discovery rulings from U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona Judge David Campbell, the Justice Department dropped a case they had doggedly pursued against Turi since 2014 — acknowledging the discovery rulings were a contributing factor in that regard. Instead, they have reached a settlement where Turi admits no guilt, but refrains from U.S.-regulated arms sales for four years. If he complies, a $200,000 civil penalty will be waived.

Make no mistake: This is another government cover-up of Hillary Clinton’s gross incompetence and/or illegal activity related to the overthrow of Moammar Gadhafi and the clandestine arming of Syrian “rebels.”

“To pursue her goal of a ‘democratic’ government there, Clinton, along with Obama and a dozen or so members of Congress from both houses and both political parties, decided she should break the law by permitting U.S. arms dealers to violate the U.N. arms embargo and arm Libyan rebels whom she hoped would one day run the new government,” Fox analyst Andrew P. Napolitano explained in a 2015 column. “So she exercised her authority as secretary of state to authorize the shipment of American-made arms to Qatar, a country beholden to the Muslim Brotherhood and friendly to the Libyan rebels and a country the U.S. had no business arming — unless the purpose of doing so was for the arms to be transferred to the rebels.”

Documents obtained by The Washington Times — from the incinerated compound in Benghazi — included a file marked “arms deal” showing the State Department initially provided arms supplier Dolarian Capital with an end use certificate authorizing them to send 7,000 machine guns and eight million rounds of ammunition originally manufactured by former Soviet-bloc nations in Eastern Europe to Libya via Kuwait. The certificate was inexplicably revoked before Dolarian could make the shipment. Nevertheless, the Times explains, “the existence of the documents and the temporary approval of at least one U.S. arms shipment provides the most direct evidence that Hillary Rodham Clinton’s State Department was aware of efforts to get weapons into the hands of rebels seeking to oust Gadhafi.”

Court documents subsequently obtained by Fox News reveal arms sales to Libyan rebels did occur during Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state. “It was then, and remains now, my opinion that the United States did participate, directly or indirectly, in the supply of weapons to the Libyan Transitional National Council,” testified career CIA officer David Manners in the District Court of Arizona on May 5, 2015.

Manners testimony was part of a grand jury investigation into Turi and his company Turi Defense Group.

The timing of Manners’ testimony is critical because it occurred prior to the recognition of the Libyan opposition, meaning the direct sale of arms was not authorized. It also corroborates statements made by Turi about what Clinton and the rest of the Obama administration knew about weapons flowing into Benghazi in 2011.

He provided Fox News with documents of exchanges with officials inside and outside the government, including high level members of Congress, the military, and State Department employees showing he was part of a “zero footprint” campaign that used third-party nations as arms-supplying surrogates “to limit the exposure to the U.S. government,” Turi explained. “The partners-the Qataris, and the Emiratis did exactly what they were contracted to do.”

And it wasn’t just Libyan rebels who were supplied with weapons. “When this equipment landed in Libya, half went one way, and half went the other way,” Turi told Fox. “The half that went the other way is the half that ended up in Syria.”

Napolitano reveals why limiting exposure became paramount — and why Clinton’s email scandal remains highly relevant. “Once this plot was hatched, Clinton and her fellow conspirators realized that some of these rebel groups were manned by al-Qaida operatives; and selling or providing arms to them is a felony,” he wrote.

In addition to those emails, Turi’s defense team won the aforementioned rulings for extensive discovery of classified documents.

Documents that could destroy Hillary Clinton.

One of those relevant documents would be an April 8, 2011 email written by Clinton herself. “FYI. The idea of using private security experts to arm the opposition should be considered,” Clinton wrote, using her private email address.

In May 2011 Turi was granted approval to sell arms to Qatar. Two months later federal agents raided his home, and alleged he tried to arm Libyans directly by submitting false documents for weapons shipments to Qatar as a cover up. Turi insisted the Obama administration blessed his effort to arm Libyan rebels and were prosecuting an innocent man to cover for Clinton.

Who’s telling the truth? Shortly before the trial was to begin — on Election Day, no less — the feds dropped their case.

It gets worse. A devastating report released last month by the Foreign Affairs Committee of the British House of Commons reveals “inaccurate intelligence” was used to support Gadhafi’s overthrow. “Government failed to identify that the threat to civilians was overstated and that the rebels included a significant Islamist element,” it stated.

Nonetheless, as Lt. General (Ret.) Michael T. Flynn, former Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency and the Senior Military Intelligence Officer in the Department of Defense, reminds us, “Hillary Clinton described the 2011 Arab Spring rebellion in eastern Libya as a spontaneous pro-democracy uprising,” despite the inconvenient reality “the Libyan connection to radical Islamic extremist groups was well known long before 2011.”

Hillary actually supported the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG), jihadists on British intelligence radar for more than 20 years. Hundreds of their members joined al-Qaida in Iraq and Afghanistan after their defeat in Libya in 1998. In Libya itself, Gadhafi jailed LIFG members until a “de-radicalization” program spearheaded by Ali al-Sallabi, a Qatari-based exiled Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated Libyan cleric, won their release with assurances they would never again attack Gadhafi. Unsurprisingly, they broke that promise shortly after their release, and they, along with other jihadist groups, received 18 arms shipments from Qatar approved by the U.S.

All of them were funneled through al-Sallabi. It was those shipments that led to Turi’s indictment.

Clinton’s biggest problem? LIFG leaders were on the State Department’s Foreign Terrorist Organization list, and selling weapons to such people, as Napolitano noted above, is a felony — one Turi threatened to expose via emails showing Clinton approved the sales.

Until the case was dropped.

Flynn also noted the Qatari connection to these machinations was not insignificant, revealing that nation “donated anywhere from $1 to $5 million to the Clinton Foundation,” and that “emails reveal members of the Qatari royal family were privileged with back channel meetings” with Clinton while she was secretary.

Is Hillary in the clear? WikiLeaks’ Julian Assange claims he has emails proving Clinton was not only aware of arms sales to Libyan rebels, but transfers to Syrian fighters as well, occurring a year before the attack in Benghazi. This directly contradicts testimony she gave to Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) in 2013.

In short, the Mother of All October Surprises may still be forthcoming.
