The Patriot Post® · Merry Christmas!
> “May the father of all mercies scatter light, and not darkness, upon our paths, and make us in all our several vocations useful here, and in His own due time and way everlastingly happy.” —George Washington1 (1790)
Fellow Patriots,
At the end of each year, I ask my editors and staff to take leave between Christmas and New Year’s Day in order to be with their families. Moreover, I want each of our team members to step back from the rigors of relentless daily deadlines so that they can begin January with fresh perspective.
As always, I will remain on the wall with our Managing Editor, Nate, keeping watch for any mischief by adversaries of Liberty. And our News Editor, Jordan, will be updating our Top Headlines2 section and Columnist/Opinion3 pages every day. Our regular editions will return on January 3.
In keeping with this blessed Christmas season, I invite you to visit our Patriot Christmas page4, which provides some insight on the history and current context for the celebration of Christmas.
It is my fervent prayer that on this and every day of the year, we follow the Light of our Creator for wisdom and peace.
On behalf of your Patriot Post team5 and our National Advisory Board6, may this Christmas season and the coming New Year be filled with God’s blessings upon you, your family and our nation.
Pro Deo et Constitutione — Libertas aut Mors Semper Vigilans Fortis Paratus et Fidelis
