“Abortion is a big deal. A very big deal. And to say it is not is simply feeding us a lie.” That’s how Autumn begins in her epic takedown of an article in Teen Vogue recommending gift ideas for post-abortive teens. Those gifts include a funny movie, special underwear, an “F-uterus” pin, or signing up to be an escort to abortion clinics. As if teens are qualified to do such things. Teen Vogue says, “Look, making this decision is never simple, and having to make it as a teenager is more than a little terrifying. But it shouldn’t have to be so scary.” Isn’t that just admitting the elephant in the room? Abortion, as Autumn said, is a big deal, and it is scary.

Planned Parenthood and the abortion lobby have a new challenge — Millennials and the following generation are better educated, more articulate and passionate about this issue than previous generations. Let’s do all we can to encourage these young people in their battle for life.
