Donald Trump’s address to a joint session of Congress Tuesday was so good even his adversaries in the Leftmedia couldn’t help but complement him.

CNN’s Wolf Blitzer called it an “important, powerful speech.”

The New York Times’s Glenn Thrush declared it “amazing, responsible, detailed, uniting, presidential!” Time magazine’s Michael Scherer agreed, saying, “This speech is the best sign yet that Donald Trump can learn how to use the power of his office.”

“He became president of the United States in that moment. Period,” said CNN’s Van Jones. “That was one of the most extraordinary moments you have ever seen in American politics. Period. … If he finds a way to do that over and over again, he’s going to be there for eight years.”

“This will be a very well-received speech for Donald Trump,” conceded MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow.

“I think this line of economic nationalism works,” MSNBC’s Chris Matthews admitted. “I think — left, right and center — I think people have a sense of righteous indignation. … I thought it was a winner politically. I think it’s probably the reason he was elected in Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Ohio. It is winning the ticket. Economic nationalism.”

Perhaps they realized just how positively most Americans viewed the speech.
