This week’s disturbing gas attack in Syria wasn’t the first such atrocity. In fact, the Obama administration vowed to eradicate Bashar al-Assad’s use of chemical weapons and then patted itself on the back for supposedly ridding the country of chemical agents. Suffice to say, that assertion was fatally premature.
