The Patriot Post® · Accusation Against Booker Exposes MSM Hypocrisy

Recently, a salacious claim of sexual assault was made by an anonymous individual against Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ). The accuser (or “victim” according to the #MeToo standards), who describes himself as both a liberal and a homosexual, wrote that Booker forcefully groped him in a restroom back in 2014. The unverified and uncorroborated allegation was posted on an anonymous social media account under the pseudonym Deep Throat, clearly making the authenticity of the accusation dubious at best. So why bring this up?

That question is exactly the cogent point the Leftmedia and Booker himself chose to ignore when they raised and promoted dubious, questionable, and uncorroborated accusations of sexual assault against Brett Kavanaugh in a blatant attempt to derail his confirmation to the Supreme Court. Concerns over truthfulness and preserving the due-process rights of every American citizen were quickly thrown out the window if it meant getting a political win.

Why has this recent accusation against Booker, a presumed 2020 presidential candidate, not received any mainstream media coverage, especially in light of this current #MeToo environment? The obvious answer is because of leftist hypocrisy. If the same standard that Booker and the Leftmedia applied to accusations against Kavanaugh was being applied to Booker, then he would be called on to defend and explain himself. He would not be afforded any presumption of innocence because the charges are so serious, rather due to the fact that he is in a clear position of power and influence, it is incumbent upon him to “prove” he is innocent of this “credible” charge.

Make no mistake: We in our humble shop presume Booker is innocent. Unless and until truly credible and corroborating evidence is brought forth by the accuser, we will assume this scandalous charge is just as credible as the Leftmedia’s pathetic reporting about Kavanaugh’s accusers. And in fact, that appears to be the position that many conservative media outlets have taken — commenting only to point out how this is a prime example of the blatant hypocrisy practiced by Democrats and the Leftmedia.
