The Patriot Post® · 'Transgender' Agenda Claims Another Life
“When the man arrived at the hospital with severe abdominal pains, a nurse didn’t consider it an emergency, noting that he was obese and had stopped taking blood pressure medicines,” reports the Associated Press. “In reality, he was pregnant — a transgender man in labor that was about to end in a stillbirth.”
If nothing else, this tragic case that cost the life of a child illustrates basic science. The biology established by our Creator made this human being a woman. However, she said she was a man, and the hospital staff accepted her claim at face value rather suffer the wrath (and the potential legal consequences) of the Rainbow Mafia.
According to Dr. Daphna Stroumsa of the University of Michigan, writing about the incident in the New England Journal of Medicine, “He was rightly classified as a man” in medical records and has a masculine appearance. “But that classification threw us off from considering his actual medical needs.”
Allow us to correct this idiocy. She was wrongly classified as a man, which prevented hospital staff from considering her actual medical needs. It’s really that simple.
But a child is dead because otherwise intelligent people made a foolish choice.
The staff eventually figured out that the woman was pregnant, but an ultrasound revealed problems. Doctors then prepped for an emergency cesarean-section delivery, which yielded this mind-numbing construction from the AP: “Moments later, the man delivered a stillborn baby.”
No man can delivery any kind of baby, as all but the heterophobic gender deniers know. Yet instead of learning the lessons of science, doctors and the AP concluded that “more training” is needed so hospital staff can, as one “transgender” health specialist put it, “think about how humans are diverse.” After all, he said, “There are implicit biases that need to be addressed.”
So much for the popular joke among leftists that “facts have a well-known liberal bias.”
The most telling line in the NEJM account is this: Were a woman with similar symptoms to enter the hospital, she “would almost surely have been triaged and evaluated more urgently for pregnancy-related problems.” In other words, this woman’s confusion about her gender confused everyone else in the process. Had medical staff been empowered to ignore this insanity and treat what they were seeing right in front of them, her baby might have survived.
