What I love about leftists is their constant demand that conservatives, and especially Christians, be tolerant of others. The definition of tolerance is: “The ability or willingness to tolerate something, in particular the existence of opinions or behavior that one does not necessarily agree with.”

With that definition, let’s talk about how the Left is tolerant of those with whom they don’t agree. I mean, in the words of the famous philosopher Rodney King, “Can’t we all just get along?” Apparently not.

Let’s start with “antifa.” They claim to be an anti-fascist group, because all of us on the Right are apparently fascist. There was a time when words had meaning. Not anymore. Words are what the Left says they are. They are so concerned about freedom of speech that whenever a conservative shows up to speak, they have to come out in force to ensure that conservative will never have the opportunity to open his mouth and say something they don’t agree with.

Ask Ann Colter or Ben Shapiro when they tried to speak on college campuses. Antifa needs to make sure they protect our freedoms like freedom of speech by beating up anyone who doesn’t adhere to the party line. The “anti-fascist” antifa act a lot like the fascists in Germany under Adolph Hitler.

Journalist Andy Ngo, who is an American of Vietnamese descent, was nearly killed when he was filming antifa protests in Portland, Oregon, this past June. Then there was the elderly man who was only trying to get away from the crowd with antifa thugs screaming at him and beating on his car. What if he had a heart attack? Would anyone have been held accountable? It’s doubtful.

Remember the elderly couple trying to cross the street in Hamilton, Ontario, just this month. The white-haired woman was using a walker when she and her husband were blocked by young antifa rioters screaming at them and calling them “Nazi scum.” Were they even German? What ticked off these protesters?

If this is what the Left calls tolerance, we are looking at serious problems ahead. It doesn’t help when those in authority cave in to the rioters. I’m thinking of a certain mayor of a major city who told the law-enforcement officers to stand back from the protesters so they had room to destroy. Or the politicians in Charlottesville, Virginia, who ordered law enforcement to stand back from the two groups of protesters.

And this is just a short list. I’ll have more because liberals are the gift that keeps on giving when it comes to intolerance.
