The Patriot Post® · America Kills a Terrorist, Leftists Lament

“There is nothing new about American terrorist attacks against Black and Brown people for the expansion of American imperialism,” lamented the professionally and permanently offended Nike spokesman Colin Kaepernick on social media following the U.S. military’s killing of Iran’s top military leader Qasem Soleimani. Kaepernick later added, “America has always sanctioned and besieged Black and Brown bodies both at home and abroad.”

But Kaepernick wasn’t the only delusional leftist spouting anti-American sentiments in the wake of President Donald Trump’s green lighting the mission to take out Iran’s number one terrorist. Several celebrities also offered stunningly obtuse statements, with some even offering condolences to Iran. And, not surprisingly, many of the usual Trump Derangement Syndrome suffering Democrats predictably blasted Trump’s decision as purely a self-serving “distraction,” as Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) vacuously suggested.

Leftmedia “news” outlet CNN complained that the “air strike feels like [an] attempt to create a distraction from impeachment and build support for Trump.” Furthermore, CNN has embraced Iran in spinning the flawed narrative that Trump’s decision has now endangered Americans, when in fact Trump’s decisive action has done the opposite. Several Leftmedia outlets were moved and impressed with the mourners in Iran, as well.

For many on the Left, their anti-Trump animus prevents them from honestly assessing a situation for its stand-alone value. The killing of Soleimani, a man responsible for the deaths of hundreds of American soldiers as well as the wounding of thousands more, was a good thing. Justice was finally served.

This action was not motivated by racism or imperialism, as Kaepernick so ridiculously asserts. Such a racist claim is the fiction of fools. Justice is not determined by the color of one’s skin; rather it is based upon judging the actions of individuals. Soleimani’s race had nothing to do with the decision to take him out. His murderous promotion of anti-American terrorism did. That’s a very simple truth that seems beyond the grasp of some leftists.
