The Patriot Post® · Like a Man, Trump Didn't Panic
It’s no wonder America has sunk to this level. It’s no wonder everything that sounds masculine is somehow toxic. President Donald Trump, in an attempt to calm the American people about a new virus, actually used testosterone mixed with logic to do it. This is the new toxic. President Trump decided not to give every detail about the COVID-19 virus to avoid pandemonium and he is being attacked again. He decided to do what any warm-blooded man would do — keep some things to himself.
When women are in a crisis, they tend to reach out to their girlfriends to cry and find solace. That’s not how men roll. A man, even in a crisis and under pressure, will go to a quiet place and think about how to get himself out of this pickle. If he cries during a crisis, nobody will take him seriously. If he overreacts in a time of despair, those around him will lose hope. President Trump understands what it is to be a man. The Left just does not understand.
Trump told Bob Woodward, a journalist writing the upcoming book Rage, “I wanted to always play it down. I still like playing it down, because I don’t want to create a panic.” What’s wrong with that, America? What’s wrong with a man standing sure-footed and looking the American people in the eye and keeping his composure? What is wrong with a man not emoting all the details upfront? Nothing! What’s wrong is the American media is milquetoast, mushy, and misandristic (the hatred for men). Men can no longer be men in America. Standing up for yourself and defending what is right has been labeled poisonous and defective.
Interviews the president did with journalist Bob Woodward were portrayed to show a disparity between what Mr. Trump knew about the virus in February and March and what he was saying publicly about it. (Except they really didn’t prove anything.)
He told Woodward on March 19, “I wanted to always play it down. I still like playing it down, because I don’t want to create a panic,” Trump said. I am still trying to find the lie. Again, men recognize men. We understand what it sounds like when a man doesn’t want to show you his hold hand and why. We must know when to hold them and when to fold them.
Trump made the worst move ever — keeping his mouth shut to avoid an emotional, fearful, reaction from the American populace? Gimme a break! I actually thank you, Mr. President, for leading this nation during a time that only a man like you needs to be at the helm. Our president has overcome Russian-collusion accusations and a fluke impeachment trial, and he is now dodging the left-wing bullet that he created the hysteria around COVID-19 by withholding information that would have panicked the people even more. I cannot make this stuff up.
Note to Men: Do not try to please everyone when making decisions. Go with your gut after you have given everything to God. Make the decision and roll with the punches, but just don’t pull any.
