Insight: “Socialists desire to practice legal plunder, not illegal plunder. Socialists, like all other monopolists, desire to make the law their own weapon. And when once the law is on the side of socialism, how can it be used against socialism? For when plunder is abetted by the law, it does not fear your courts, your gendarmes, and your prisons. Rather, it may call upon them for help.” —Frederic Bastiat (1801-1850)

For the record: “President Obama made Vice President Biden the point-man for administration foreign policy in Ukraine, China, and Russia. There is a lot that divides those three countries. The one thing that unites them is that, while Joe Biden was directly influencing American policy towards them, they all found it expedient to pay Hunter Biden millions of dollars.” —Andrew McCarthy

Fair question: “Why are Never Trumpers dismissive of the Biden-China bombshells? Is it because Trump posts mean tweets? Or is it because they are so intoxicated with Trump hate they can’t see a real scandal and don’t care about the scandalous coverup by the liberal media oligarchy?” —David Limbaugh

Braying jenny: “These are the same people saying that we can’t have tuition-free public colleges because there’s no money when these motherf–ers are only paying $750 a year in taxes.” —Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

Non sequitur: “Our hearts are broken for the family of Walter Wallace Jr., and for all those suffering the emotional weight of learning about another Black life in America lost. … Walter Wallace’s life, like too many others’, was a Black life that mattered…” —Joe Biden and Kamala Harris (That’s so special given that the Democrat Party is responsible for generations of policies that have resulted in the loss of countless black lives.)

From the “too little too late” files: “There is no excuse whatsoever for the looting and the violence — none whatsoever.” —Joe Biden

And last… “Rioting is not ‘the language of the unheard.’ It’s the language of criminals who are nothing but a net drain on society.” —Steven Crowder
