As a young woman, I am deeply saddened by the number of other women who are not given the same chance at life as I was. Growing up, I was always taught that all people were different but equally created in the image of God. I firmly believe that all lives are equally valuable no matter what race, disability, or gender someone is. If you believe these truths along with me, I trust that you will also come to find that supporting Planned Parenthood — because of the 61,628,584 lives that have been ended since Roe v. Wade in 1973 — is reprehensible.

In order for anyone to understand the awful motives of Planned Parenthood, one must know the history surrounding it. The founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, was a white racist who believed in selective breeding and eugenics.

This fact makes the statistic that over 90% of disabled babies are aborted even more heart-wrenching.

As Mark Alexander has noted, Sanger asserted that ministry to the poor, a fundamental tenet of Christianity, is responsible for excessive numbers of “unwanted” ethnic breeds. Sanger declared, “Those vast, complex, interrelated organizations aiming to control and to diminish the spread of misery and destitution and all the menacing evils that spring out of this sinisterly fertile soil, are the surest sign that our civilization has bred, is breeding, and is perpetuating constantly increasing numbers of defectives, delinquents, and dependents.”

Sanger characterized the poor as “human weeds, reckless breeders, spawning … human beings who never should have been born.” Of the extermination of black babies, Sanger wrote, “We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.”

Planned Parenthood deliberately establishes abortion mills in minority areas, taking more black lives than any other entity. So why isn’t anyone rioting and protesting against Planned Parenthood?

Abortion is the leading cause of death in America. More lives are ended each year from abortion than all U.S. war deaths combined. One abortion takes place every 96 seconds. This means that every minute and a half, a baby’s life is ended before he or she has a chance to fight or cry for help. More pre-born babies are being killed than are the number of Americans dying from the COVID pandemic. Stand up and fight for every little one who cannot fend for herself.
