How About a Do-Over?

Not just a replay of the election but a mulligan on the entire year of 2020.

I think most Americans would love a “do-over” for 2020. After nonstop Trump Derangement Syndrome for three years, we got to 2020 and the entire world seems upside down.

First came the COVID-19 pandemic, followed by the riots after the death of George Floyd. There was anarchy in the streets of our major cities, while “defund the police” turned already dangerous Democrat cities into war zones. The economy went into a tailspin because of mandatory shutdowns — shutdowns that some Democrat governors, county executives, and mayors are either trying to keep going or restart so as to exact as much economic pain as possible to pin on Donald Trump.

Don’t they know the election is over and that, according to all of the media, Joe Biden won and Donald Trump lost? Sure, there are allegations of voter fraud and irregularities, especially in the Democrat-controlled swing states. Yeah, I know, Trump was leading in all of those states until they stopped counting and went home. Well, not everyone went home, just the Republicans. Loyal Democrats stayed and didn’t quit until every ballot was counted.

The next day, magically, Trump’s lead vanished and Biden was leading. Most of the red states were able to get their votes counted within 24 hours of the polls closing. Blue states had to take longer because … well, it took longer to find those pesky “misplaced” ballots that kept showing up by the truckload. I’m not the brightest bulb in the box, but is it just dumb luck that lost ballots always seem to go to the Democrat? How does that work?

All that concern prior to Election Day that the Russians were going to interfere in this election like they did in 2016 vanished. In fact, I hear we had the most perfect election ever with no outside interference or fraud whatsoever! Sure, Republican poll watchers were blocked here and there. Sure, they covered up windows in Detroit to keep poll watchers from seeing what they were doing, which was nothing because it was all great.

The Trump campaign lawyers keep trying to get their cases heard in the states where they allege voter fraud. Sure, they had so-called witnesses come forward and make sworn affidavits under oath, subject to perjury, of voter fraud. But they’re probably Republicans, so there’s that! Remember all of the sworn affidavits during the investigations into Trump? Me neither!

The mainstream media is saying Trump’s campaign is making allegations of voter fraud WITHOUT EVIDENCE. I want to let you in on a secret. You don’t present evidence until you get your case into the courtroom. When you have a hearing, then you lay your cards on the table, not before.

Trump’s legal team seems to be keeping its cards close to the vest. When it gets its case before the Supreme Court, we will see where it goes. If the lawyers have nothing, then Trump needs to concede, and we will have a Harris-Biden administration (not a typo). Until then, let the legal process move forward. We’re nowhere near the 37 days it took for the Bush-Gore election to finish its course.

Something to think about?
