Re: “America Is Not Awash in ‘Systemic Racism’”
“The local Kent, Ohio, Board of Health has declared racism to be a public health crisis. I challenged that assertion and the health commissioner was unable or unwilling to name just one racist. I found that rather odd. If someone or a group can declare something to be a crisis, that someone or entity certainly should be able to show some activity as proof of the allegation. Welcome to the new America, where honesty and truth have been encased in concrete and dropped into the slimy backwaters of the swamp.” —Ohio
Re: “Ted Wheeler Gets Mugged by Reality”
“I see no reason why the people of Portland should risk retaliation by speaking up at this point. The current VP of the United States is the one who so supported the rioters that she involved herself in the establishing of public funding to gather donations for bail of those comparatively few arrested, none of whom has yet to, or will ever, see the inside of a courtroom. Mr. Mayor, you gave them an inch, they took a mile.” —California
Re: “Census Sets Up a Potential Political Shift”
“Republicans in states that have gained population should reach out to the refugees from Democrat states and make the case that voting Democrat will bring in the same destructive conditions that ruined their former residences. Texas Republicans in particular should focus on Austin and Houston — two cities that suffer considerably under Democrat control despite the best efforts of the state government to mitigate the damage.” —Minnesota
Re: “Total Recall, Starring a California Governor”
“The polls may say 56% still approve of the governor, but I think the silent majority is waiting for the sanctity of the privacy of the voting booth. I’d say ‘Yay’ for Gavin Newsom also if it meant avoiding censure and ostracization in my society. But alone and safe in the voting booth, I’d vote my truth.” —North Carolina
Re: “Wednesday Short Cuts”
“‘Leftism has always been a secular religion’ (Dennis Prager). Like many, it offers a façade briefly appeasing the only universal human thirst: the need for purpose, origin, and destiny that remains unsatiated in this world. Our Declaration of Independence asserts our raison d'être is founded upon certain self-evident and unalienable truths endowed by our Creator. Leftism promotes humanism, prohibits theistic authority, and expects humans to satisfy.” —Missouri
