The Patriot Post® · Catholic League Nails Biden's Un-Catholic Policies

To claim or promote one thing while doing the opposite is the quintessential definition of a hypocrite. Significantly, some of Jesus’ most condemning statements were aimed at hypocrites. The context for this background arises from a recently released report from the Catholic League assessing Joe Biden’s policy decisions since he’s been in office. (By extension, this critique applies to most Catholic Democrats.) Of import is the fact that Biden regularly touted his Catholicism on the campaign trail, claiming that his “idea of self, of family, of community, of the wider world comes straight from my religion.” This was supposed to make him seem more palatable than Donald Trump, and indeed he fooled at least some portion of the 81 million* people who voted for him.

As we have previously noted, the Leftmedia has further trumpeted this dubious narrative with claims of Biden being the “most religiously observant commander in chief in half a century” because he “regularly attends Mass and speaks of how his Catholic faith grounds his life and his polices.” We have called foul on this narrative, primarily due to Biden’s support for abortion and his efforts to expand it; a factor alone that is enough to dispel all the false “Biden is a good Catholic” claims.

Of course, for the anti-religious Left, you’re welcome to tout your religion so long as you don’t follow its tenets.

However, there’s a lot more than Biden’s stance on abortion exposing the hypocrisy of his claim that his religion is what guides his worldview. The Catholic League released a list documenting 32 instances since taking office that Biden has implemented or supported policy decisions that run directly counter to the teachings of the Catholic Church.

Importantly, the list is not violations of relatively obscure Catholic beliefs and teachings; rather, it demonstrates that he has effectively violated nearly every core tenet of the Catholicism he so loudly claims to live by. Among other things, the list includes Biden’s actions to promote homosexuality, “transgenderism,” abortion, and the removal of religious liberty protections.

Biden’s claims of being a Catholic are being exposed as fraudulent by the very policy decisions he has and continues to make. “You will know them by their fruits,” Jesus said. “Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? … Therefore by their fruits you will know them.”
