Re: “The Left’s Covert War on the Suburbs

“So, the government is going to provide ‘affordable’ housing units, despite the current cost of building materials, by using government funds for prevailing wage jobs and rising property tax rates? Must be wonderful! Didn’t the federal government, in the recent past, basically admit project-type public housing was not the best way to get people ‘sheltered’? How soon will it be before the feds start inventorying our individual homes and require us to take in boarders to fill un-used bedrooms, living spaces, etc.?” —Washington

Re: “‘Defund Police!’ Who Said What?

“You are correct to use the word ‘asinine’ to describe ANYONE asking which party was advocating the ‘defund the police’ agenda. For every action, there is a reaction. Shifting blame is the first motto of the Democrat Party; taking credit for another’s accomplishments is its second.” —Oregon

“If the police force is defunded, then it is only right that the people who want
this done should resign from any and all help offered by the defunded police
as per the wish of the defunders.” —Alberta

Re: “Celebrate Black Patriotism

“I’m reminded of what Muhammad Ali said when asked his thoughts on slavery and Africa when he was there for a fight. He said he was glad his great-granddaddy got on that boat. Walter Williams, when asked by someone on a selection committee at a college he was seeking employment from, said if it weren’t for his ancestors being on the slave ships, he wouldn’t be there, which shocked all in the room. Frederick Douglass and Booker T. Washington were great men to be looked up to and admired. Washington was prescient when he warned of race-baiters and hustlers like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.” —Minnesota

Re: “California’s Rainbow Civil War

“California may need those banned states someday to bail them out of debt and natural disaster. Can you imagine Arkansas, Florida, Montana, North Dakota, and West Virginia saying, ‘Since California does not view the unborn fetus as human, we will not send it any more natural resources, tax money, medical assistance, or firemen to fight its wildfires’?” —North Carolina
